Supply Chain ManagementQuestion: Is there normal dress attire associated with a Supply Chain Management career?

Answer: The dress attire for the Supply Chain Management career is usually dependent on the industry.  There is a general rule to always dress professional, but that is a very open statement.  The culture of the organization you work for is the determinant of the dress code.  Of course, if you are meeting with important clients or going to a supplier’s facility you want to make sure your attire is professional.  This may not mean a business suit, but at minimum it should be business casual.  No blue jeans, unless of course the visit is going to require physical labor that make blue jeans more appropriate and the supplier’s culture does not frown upon blue jeans.
