No, they don’t headline the resume with “hi, I’m 55.”  However, putting your date of graduation from college or your first job as a lifeguard with the years next to it is pretty easy math.  Keep your age off the resume and let your experience speak for itself.

There are changes in the field all the time. It is up to you to ensure that you are keeping your skills current and up-to-date so that you are competitive in your job search. Network Whenever and Wherever You Can – Networking is important for every age group. However, it can be crucial to over 50 job seekers. Since you want your education and experience to speak for themselves, not your age, you will have the best luck making a good impression with someone that is looking to hire in the supply chain management field. Network wherever and whenever you can. Get the word out that you are looking for a job in the supply chain management field.  This can be the best way to lead to a job offer without letting your age become a factor.
